Q. Do we need to reserve a campsite for the Stampede?
A. No you do not. It is on a first-come basis. Take as much room as you need, but use as much room as you take. Please be courteous to your neighbors. Remember you are here for a good time not a long time. Camping is available on the East, South and west side of the rodeo grounds. (DO NOT camp in the Infield Area or you will be moved)
Q. Can I use my generator?
A. Yes. But please remember to be courteous to the neighbors. Nobody wants to listen to it run all day and night.
Q. Do you have serviced sites?
A. No, we don’t have any serviced sites. It is open pasture camping.
Q. Where is the next closest campsite with services?
A. Viking East View Park, Holden Campsite or Vegreville.
Q. Where can I fill the water or dump my RV?
A. Bruce has an RV water fill/sewer dump west of the Bruce Hotel.
Q. Can we have fires?
A. *Due to FIRE BAN, no wood burning fires are permitted at this time* (Approved gas fire bowls are permitted)This depends on the county fire regulations at the time and what the local Fire Chief deems safe.
Q. Do we need to purchase advanced tickets?
A. No you do not. We are a general admission event, pay cash at the gate.
Q. What is the cost?
A. Saturday Local Rodeo is $10. Saturday night dance is $10. Sunday CPRA Rodeo is $20, children 12 and under free!
Q. Can I bring a dog?
A. All dogs must be on a leash and well behaved. Keep dogs away from arena fence during events and away from heavy populated areas (around food concessions, ect). Service dogs are exempt. Remember just because you love your dog doesn’t mean everyone does.
Q. I run a food vending truck; can we have a spot?
A. Sorry not at this time. Currently all of our food service is provided by the greatest volunteers around.
